Board Member Opportunity

There is currently an opening for a person with an accounting background on the board of Directors. Contributing to a strong and dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with the other directors to use the Board’s collective knowledge and experience to govern Compass Centre in accordance with its mission, values, and mandate.

As a Director and Treasurer, you will be asked to take a leadership role in providing governance-based financial oversight for Compass Centre. 

You will also be involved:

•  Establishing board policies and objectives;
• Supporting the Executive Director;
• Ensuring the availability of adequate financial resources / approving annual budgets;
• Making key decisions to the organization’s strategic planning and service delivery;
• Being a member of a standing committee.

The Average Time Commitment per month are10-15 hours.
