bio
Yuliya is a Manager with Alberta Health’s Insured Services and Compensation Design Unit. Her educational background includes: a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management, as well as a prospective Master of Business Administration in Public Policy and Management.
Yuliya has an extensive resume, including research assistant, recruiting officer, training officer, business consultant, medical office manager, and kinesiologist. Her other accomplishments include two leadership certificates; one from Simon Fraser University’s Innovative Leadership (LEAD) Certificate Program and the other one from Government of Alberta’s Leadership Program. Through her leadership experience, Yuliya took on a role as the board mentor at Compass Centre for students participating in the Non-Profit Board Student Internship Program by the University of Alberta, and was also a mentor for new leaders participating in the Government of Alberta’s Leadership Program.
In her spare time, Yuliya has been involved with the MBA Association, Edmonton Humane Society, Vitalus Edmonton, First Lego League, Edmonton World Health Organization Simulation, and Leadership Consultant Council (LCC) at the University of Alberta.
