In 2014, our volunteers dedicated 421 hours of their time at 26 events throughout our community, including Homeless Connect, Edmonton Pride Festival, TABOO and Astral Harvest. This year they have already volunteered 62 hours at only 6 events!
Our volunteer Board Members work behind the scenes to contribute immeasurably to the policies and procedures that govern Compass Centre. They put in hundreds of hours to ensure the transition to our new name and brand went as smoothly as it did.
We cannot stress enough how important our volunteers are to our organization.
If it weren’t for them, we would not be able to do half the work we are able to do in the community. Their time and dedication do make a difference.
So, we would like to send a huge THANK-YOU to all of our volunteers for not only their time but their hard work, dedication and the wonderful impact they have made on our community!
You are worth your weight in gold and we truly appreciate everything you have done for Compass Centre!
