Sex In The City: Shining a Light on Healthy Sexuality in #YEG

JOIN US and ENCOURAGE all the great work being done in the city; not only at Compass Centre for Sexual Wellness but also with other partners promoting healthy sexuality in #YEG!
The City of Edmonton, through FCSS, has been funding Compass Centre for 25+ yrs. The funds sustain our counselling and community support initiatives. FCSS also funds our multicultural sexual health outreach program. Over the past two years, Compass Centre has been leading a project funded by Family and Community Safety Program, to promote healthy sexuality in #YEG. The project focused on working with immigrants, refugees and newcomers to our city. We are going to take this opportunity to recognize the time and effort of our community animators. These animators have spent countless hours training and hosting events to educate their communities about sexual health and healthy relationships. United Way supports our sexual health education as well as our community outreach programs. Throughout May, a group of volunteers eager to educate the community about healthy sexuality, completed their training. We will take a moment to recognize their efforts!
This event is open and free to attend. We will accept donations to offset costs and support our initiatives in promoting sexual health in #YEG! Please RSVP through Eventbrite.
