Any person who supports the objectives and the work of Compass Centre for Sexual Wellness and pays an annual fee may become a voting member of the organization. Compass Centre’s membership provides a collective voice in support of sexual and reproductive health and the pro-choice community.

One of the primary purposes of the membership is to elect a Board of Directors to entrust with the responsibility for governance of the organization. The membership will annually review the work of the organization through the Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements as presented at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Other benefits of membership include:

• In-person voting privileges at the AGM and Special Meetings of the Membership
• A reduced registration fee for workshops and events
• Notifications about community events and special offers

Volunteer

Volunteering is one way to get involved with Compass Centre. Our volunteers include board members, peer educators and special event workers. For details on the different positions check out our Volunteer Application page! 

Donation

As our organization expands in new and exciting directions you can help support that change! All donations can be made through the secure Canada Helps link. Here is an example of the work your donation can support:

• $50 = one elementary, Junior, or  Senior High school presentation to up to 60 students
• $100 = a 2 hour workshop for youth and community members
• $250 = 3 hours of volunteer training
• $500 = a full day of professional development for health care professionals
