Seeking New Board of Directors

Compass Centre for Sexual Wellness is a not-for-profit, feminist, sex-positive, prochoice organization. We have been providing comprehensive, rights-based sexual health education and counselling services to Edmonton and surrounding communities for over 50 years. Our vision is Healthy Sexuality throughout the Lifespan.
The Compass Centre for Sexual Wellness ensures that individuals have access to the support services and information necessary to make confident, informed and healthy decisions about their sexual health. Our organization promotes sexual wellness and sex-positivity in Edmonton and surrounding communities.
The Opportunity:
Contributing to a strong and dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with the other directors to use the Board’s collective knowledge and experience to govern the Compass Centre for Sexual Wellness in accordance with its mission, values, and mandate.
You will also be involved in:
- Establishing board policies and objectives;
- Strategic fundraising;
- Supporting the Executive Director;
- Making key decisions to the organization’s strategic planning and service delivery; and
- Being a member of a standing committee.
